Sandwich shop to open Friday on King Street

Pacific Business News (Honolulu)

A new sandwich and wings shop is opening this week on King Street.

Buffalo Boys Hoagies, which specializes in New York-style hoagies and chicken wings, opens Friday.

The restaurant, at 2671 S. King St., Unit A, is owned by Tomas Arana and Eric Richter.

Arana told PBN that he and Richter both grew up in Buffalo, N.Y.

Arana said he has lived in Hawaii for 15 years and Richter just recently moved here.

The restaurant is open from 10:30 a.m. to 3 a.m. every day of the week except for some holidays.

Arana said the restaurant employs 10 people, but is hoping to hire about 20 more.

Tomas used to work with me at the Hard Rock when he first moved here (Honolulu). He also worked for 12th Avenue Grill when they opened. Good Guy, Loving Father. Good Luck Tomas!
